
Recipe Name: Sautéed Nopales with Tomato, Onion & Jalapeño

Ingredients:
- 1 lb nopales, cleaned and chopped
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- 1/2 white onion, chopped
- 1 jalapeño pepper, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Optional: fresh cilantro and lime juice
Instructions:
- Rinse nopales thoroughly. Simmer in water for 8–10 minutes to reduce slime, then drain.
- In a skillet, heat oil and sauté onion and jalapeño until softened.
- Add tomato and cook 3 minutes.
- Add drained nopales and sauté 5 more minutes.
- Season with salt and top with cilantro and lime if desired.
