Description
PEPPERS JALAPENO 35 LB
Green Jalapeño chiles are a medium sized hot pepper with a smooth, glossy skin that changes from dark green to red as it matures. The Jalapeno is popular for its iconic flavor and mild heat, around 5,000 Scoville Heat Units. Green Jalapeño chiles are a great source of vitamin C and have smaller amounts of vitamins A, E, and K, magnesium, folate, manganese, fiber, and potassium. They are considered to be one of the most versatile peppers and can be used for salsas, hot sauces, dips and guacamole. The thicker flesh also makes them ideal for stuffing with ingredients like pork or cheeses. Fresh Jalapenos will last for up to a week when stored whole and unwashed in a paper bag in the refrigerator.
