
Ingredients:
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- ¾ cup sugar
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)
- 4 cups water
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices and additional blueberries for garnish
Instructions:
- In a saucepan, combine blueberries, sugar, and 1 cup of water. Bring to a simmer and cook until sugar is dissolved and blueberries have burst, about 5 minutes.
- Strain the blueberry mixture through a fine mesh sieve, pressing on solids to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard solids.
- In a large pitcher, combine the blueberry syrup, lemon juice, and remaining 3 cups of water. Adjust sweetness if necessary.
- Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and blueberries.
