Crispy Chinese Scallion Pancakes

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup hot water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil (plus more for cooking)

Instructions:

  1. Mix flour and hot water to form a dough. Knead until smooth, rest 30 minutes.
  2. Divide into 4 balls, roll flat, brush with sesame oil, sprinkle with salt and green onions.
  3. Roll up, coil, flatten again.
  4. Pan-fry each pancake in oil until golden and crispy on both sides.
  5. Slice and serve with soy dipping sauce.
