
Recipe Name: Homemade Pickled Banana Peppers

Ingredients:
- 1/2 lb banana peppers, sliced into rings
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cloves garlic, smashed
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- Optional: pinch of mustard seeds or red pepper flakes
Instructions:
- Pack sliced peppers into a clean glass jar.
- In a saucepan, combine vinegar, water, garlic, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil.
- Pour hot liquid over peppers, covering them completely.
- Seal the jar and let cool to room temperature.
- Refrigerate and let sit for at least 24 hours before eating.
