Ingredients:

  • 2 large yellow onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Optional: splash of balsamic vinegar

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-low heat.
  2. Add onions and salt. Stir to coat.
  3. Cook for 40–45 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and jammy.
  4. Add balsamic in the last 5 minutes if desired.
  5. Use as a burger topping, toast spread, or pizza base.
