Ingredients:
- 2 large yellow onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Optional: splash of balsamic vinegar
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-low heat.
- Add onions and salt. Stir to coat.
- Cook for 40–45 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and jammy.
- Add balsamic in the last 5 minutes if desired.
- Use as a burger topping, toast spread, or pizza base.
