Our Vision

Our vision is to procure and provide safe, quality produce and products, the folks of Northwest Arkansas and our neighboring states, enjoy. To provide all-inclusive and diverse products, reflective of our community. And understanding the global impact a small local business can have, transition our paper-based business to cloud-based, to create a more sustainable business, expand our service ability, and while keeping at the forefront of our goals, the well-being of the people of our community and thereby, our planet.

Who We Are

Twin City Produce of Springdale, LLC, established in 1991, is a distributor of fruit and vegetable food products and sundry items. We operate from a custom 10,000 square foot warehouse modified facility in Springdale Arkansas.

How We Do It

Our Products

We distribute a variety of fresh produce and food products for our diverse customer base; grocery stores, restaurants, food trucks, schools, retirement homes, caterers, bakeries, and produce stands. As a wholesale distributor, we do not operate a retail store. We do partner with many produce grocers, including Twin City Produce, Fort Smith.

With more than 300 in stock products, with various attributes, and limitless procurable products, we are a small but mighty warehouse. The company uses regular handling equipment for loading and unloading from transport vehicles and a modern computerized tracking system. All equipment is up to date approved for its use.

Preferred Products

Serving a diverse community means carrying produce in every stage of life. Our customers are able to order their produce customized to their preference. A grocer may want green bananas, a restaurant just about ripe, while a baker may want almost over ripe for maximum sugar production.

Sustainability First

We had sustainability as a core belief before we knew what it meant.  The warehouse was customized with LED light fixtures and lights before it became a measurable recommendation to reduce our energy costs. As a wholesaler, most products are sold in the original shipping packaging, reducing waste. Less than 10% of all orders are packaged in plastic and then only recyclable, food grade plastics are used. The rest of orders are fulfilled in recyclable food grade cardboard.

The warehouse layout and staging maximizes the use of natural light, while protecting fresh produce exposure. Upgrading our fleet and improving and increasing the use of technology to reduce paper use, and enhancing fleet tracking and fuel economy is an on-going project, replacing four trucks this year alone. By maintaining a diverse fleet – a combination of vans, various size trucks, we are able to select vehicle by route need. No need to send out a half full semi when a van can take the load.

For our Community

Whether donating to the Girl Scouts, food pantries, or special pricing for schools; Twin City Produce, Springdale has been active in our community since inception.  We reduce food waste by partnering donating to neighboring farms.
